This past weekend Syracuse-Hamilton County was represented at the 21st annual Kansas Sampler Festival in Leavenworth. It was a wonderful event, even with a slight shower on Sunday. Now I am back in the office full of ideas and a long list of things to accomplish for the community. Now just to find the time to get it all done!

What a perfect day to be inside working with it cloudy and raining here in Ulysses, Kansas. Marci and WenDee from Kansas Sampler Foundation have been working hard to teach us how to promote our rural Kansas community through social networking. Yesterday we were explorers and were able to chose a town that we were not familiar with and go explore. I along with Sally from Liberal and Marieta from Ulysses went and explored Moscow. Today I have been working on Syracuse's page for the Rural Kansas website and learning more about Facebook, Twitter and blogging. So here we go!
